The BBC has partnered with Fun.com to produce a new line of suits inspired by Doctor Who.
Fun.com previously launched a series of Marvel and DC inspired suits last year. Now you can be as fashionable as a Time Lord with these officially licensed Doctor Who suits. Four different styles are available, three of which are inspired by the TARDIS (they do have interior pockets, but they’re not exactly bigger on the inside). The other is a Dalek fashioned suit. And they all come with a bow tie.
With a black exterior, the interior features a cosmic scene with the TARDIS front and center on satin fabric. A TARDIS design is also embroidered on the wrist.
The Formal Suit has a deep blue exterior, matching the colour of the classic police box. Screen-printed patterns on the front match the iconic lines of the TARDIS. The satin fabric interior feature a printed design of the control room.
The Subtle Suit has a navy blue exterior, while the satin interior features a repeating TARDIS pattern, which is also on the matching bow tie and pocket square. There’s a TARDIS design embroidered on the wrist too.
The Dalek Suit has a charcoal exterior, while the satin interior displays a repeating black and white Dalek pattern, which is also on the matching pocket square and bow tie. The level of detail extends to the Dalek themed buttons on each sleeve. There’s a small Dalek embroidered on the wrist as well.
They each cost $149.99 (around £117). To complete the look, there are also matching trousers at a cost of $79.99 (around £62). The only thing you’ll have to provide is your own Sonic Screwdriver.
Unfortunately, while Fun.com do ship internationally, they will only ship these suits to Canada and the US. So for those of you outside those countries, if you’re interested then you’ll have to use a mail forwarding service.
