PUMA are celebrating 50 years of the PUMA Suede by collaborating with legends in music, fashion and pop culture. February sees them release their collaboration with Sanrio’s Hello Kitty.
“Cute and classy, Hello Kitty has ruled over the pop culture world for more than 40 years,” said PUMA of Sanrio’s mascot. “She’s expanding her empire to include another icon: the PUMA Suede. The PUMA x HELLO KITTY collaboration hits the scene with bold hues, cheerful graphics, and stylish detailing, celebrating two style icons made to last.”
The PUMA Suede Hello Kitty trainers are in red and white, with a red leather stripe and have a print of Hello Kitty with her bottle of milk. Hello Kitty’s bow is also printed on the sole. The Suede trainers range from $65 to $110 (£46 to £77.50) depending on which variation you go for (Infant, Preschool, Junior, Women’s).
The collaboration also has the feline emblazoned on a t-shirt, a hoodie, backpack, gym bag and a cap.
The PUMA x Hello Kitty collaboration is available online and in stores from 8 February. You can check out the whole range by visiting PUMA’s US online store. They are expected to go live on PUMA’s European site very soon.
